Jit Kumari Rai from Assangthang, Dumigoan, South Sikkim has a BA degree in Geography from Gyalshing Government College in West Sikkim. Inspired by the library in her village, she has enrolled for a Diploma course in Library Science and Information from IGNOU (Indira Gandhi Open University).
