Dear Pratiksha ji,
Your article has a universal appeal. Children outgrow their native place by the time they are 16-17 years of age. Centralised exams for all professionals courses place students in any part of the country. Most of the mothers,of any educational levels lose their opportunities for self development after motherhood. When their children leave, they get the same feelings as these 5 mothers in your qualitative studies express. You have brought out their pathos sensitively. In your next study you can focus on middle aged women efforts for self actualisation.

As a daughter who had to leave home for education and career, I found myself resonating with the story on a profoundly personal level. I can imagine what my mother would have gone through. Growing up in a small hamlet, I fondly remember the community of aunts who lived nearby, affectionately referred to as 'Kaki, Bari Maiju, Phupu.' These women formed a robust support system, bonding over shared joys and sorrows, and collectively contributing to the rich fabric of our community. I recall how they would come together to prepare traditional delicacies like aloodum puri or sel roti for special occasions, their camaraderie and laughter filling the air. It's disheartening to notice that this sense of community and solidarity is slowly eroding. I propose that further research be conducted to explore the impact of this decline on the mental health and well-being of our community's mothers. Thank you for sharing this evocative story, which has not only touched my heart but also inspired me to reflect on the importance of preserving our community's traditions and bonds."
